Friday, May 30 at 6:00 p.m.
A bariaat, as Guyanese say, is a joyous and festive pre-wedding procession and celebration where the groom is escorted to the wedding venue. The ceremony is full of music, dancing, and bright colors, showcasing the groom’s arrival in a royal style and his joy and excitement about getting married.
Attire
Indian clothing or bright colors are encouraged for the Welcome Party/Bariaat.
Cocktail attire for the Reception.
Casual dress for Sunday Brunch.
